With over 20 years of experience and a noted equitation champion, Caitlin is a sought-after horse trainer and horseback riding instructor throughout the Midwest. Throughout her career, Caitlin has worked with several leading horse professionals and has trained best-in-class horses and riders to National and World Championship titles. She enjoys rehabilitating horses to the best version of themselves. ​

KAREN LOCHOWITZ-OVERHOLT
​Assistant Riding Instructor

Karen has been with Caitlin Carmody Stables since 2019. As a life-long rider, Karen has been owning and showing horses for over 55 years. Starting her saddle seat career with Ross Drake Stables and Max Parkinson Stables, Karen worked as a part-time riding instructor. Later, she went on to ride hunt seat but returned to her saddle seat roots when she joined Caitlin. Karen loves sharing her experience and passion for horses with new riders of all ages.
