An instructor should exemplify the things she seeks to teach.
It will be of great advantage if you yourself can do all you ask of your students and more.

Lauren Simon

Lauren, the proud owner of Mo, and a wonderful riding instructor. Lauren graduated from William Woods University with a bachelor's degree in Special Education. While there, she studied Equestrian Science and showed with the Hunter Jumper show team. William Woods was the first university to offer a four-year degree for Equestrian Science and today, they produce some of the world's best trainers and riding instructors in the equine industry.

Lauren is currently a special education teacher at Swallow School in Hartland and working towards her Master's Degree in Special Education. In addition to her remarkable educational background, Lauren has also been a valued client of CCS for 8 years now. She and Mo offer a unique character that can be found nowhere else. We look forward to many more years of instructing with her.

Sarah Rubino

Sarah began riding saddlebread horses at the age of six, and at the age of nine, she learned about jumping and never looked back. Sarah showed as an amateur in Illinois and Central Ohio, winning numerous awards. Sarah attended Lake Erie College where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in both Equestrian Sciences and Small Business Management.

While in college, Sarah spent three months training at the Kellett Riding School in Kildare, Ireland, where she obtained her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor Certificate. Sarah is also a Certified Therapeutic riding instructor.

After graduating from college, Sarah began working for a startup software company and continued to show as an amateur. Although Sarah quit showing in 1995, she continued to ride for pleasure. Sarah met Caitlin in 2018 when she was boarding at the same barn Caitlin was leasing. Caitlin and Sarah immediately hit it off and Sarah became a riding instructor for CCS that very same year.

Sarah retired from her job as the office manager at Mukwonago Animal Hospital last March, and is loving the retired life. In her spare time she and her husband enjoy boating, motorcycling, and spending their winters in Florida. Sarah stated that she loves teaching the kids that were just like she was.

CCS congratulates Sarah on her 15th year as a Breast Cancer Survivor.
